Title I

Title I is a federally funded program designed to provide additional instructional support to eligible students in both public and non-public schools that have high proportions of low-income families. These funds help serve students who may need extra assistance to succeed academically, including those who are migrant, learning English, experiencing homelessness, have disabilities, are neglected or delinquent, or are otherwise considered at risk.

Questions about Title I funds can be directed to the building level Principals first and then the Superintendent.  If further action is required, please refer to the New York State ESSA funded programs page.
