This season, our North Warren Softball team is proud to join the fight against cancer through Coaches vs. Cancer.
More than just the thrill of the game, every play, every hit, every run we make this year is dedicated to the brave individuals we know and love who have faced or are currently battling cancer.
That's why you'll see us proudly wearing purple at our games this week. Purple is the color of hope and unity in the fight against all cancers, and it serves as a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of those affected.
On May 8th we have the honor of having North Warren staff member, Nancy Koenig, throw out the first pitch. Nancy is an integral part of our girls' everyday lives, a cancer survivor and the girls wanted to honor her.
Adding a personal touch to their support, the girls have also honored those close to them by creating ribbons and hanging them in the dugout, each one representing someone they know who has fought or is fighting cancer.
Come cheer us on as we play with purpose, supporting a cause that touches so many lives. Your presence helps us raise awareness and show our unwavering support.
