Sawyer Gadjo to states

Congratulation Sawyer Gadjo!

After an impressive performance at the Section 2 Nordic Skiing Championships, Sawyer secured a 6th-place finish, officially qualifying for the NYSPHSAA State Championships. This achievement places Sawyer among the elite high school skiers in New York, proving that hard work and endurance pay off when it counts.

The road to the podium was no easy feat. Nordic skiing requires a unique blend of grit and strategy, and Sawyer’s ability to maintain a top-tier pace against the best in the region has earned them a spot on the big stage.

What’s Next?
Sawyer will now head to Bristol Mountain to represent Section 2 and compete for a state title. The event will take place over two days of intense competition:

February 23: Individual Distance Races

February 24: Relay Events

The entire school community is behind Sawyer as they prepare for these final races of the season. It’s a proud moment for our athletics program and a testament to what student-athletes can achieve with focus and dedication.

Good luck at States, Sawyer! We’ll be cheering for you from the sidelines and back home.
Thank you SROs

Thank you to our School Resource Officers!

Behind the scenes of every school day, our School Resource Officers (SROs) are working hard to keep our campus running smoothly. While we often see them in the halls, it’s important to recognize that their job goes way beyond just wearing a uniform.

Our SROs do much more than provide security. They serve as mentors, helping students navigate tough situations and offering a friendly face when someone needs to talk. By being a part of our daily lives—from the lunchroom to the sidelines of our games—they build a bridge of trust between the community and law enforcement.

To our officers: Thank you for your service and for caring about our future. We are grateful to have you on our team.
