Firefighters taught students the crucial need for a home escape plan and how to find two ways out of every room. All students practiced the "Stop, Drop, and Roll" technique.
Firefighters also stressed the importance of smoke alarms, encouraging students to test them monthly and change batteries annually. Students explored a fire truck and learned to view the equipment and gear as tools for safety.
