Kindergarteners Celebrate Pumpkin Day!

North Warren's Kindergarten classrooms transformed into vibrant learning labs for Pumpkin Day! The students engaged in a variety of activities that brought math and scientific inquiry to life. They used tools to measure the circumference and weigh their pumpkins, practiced comparing different sizes and shapes, and eagerly worked together to scoop out the seeds.

The highlight of the day was acting as young scientists. Each student made a prediction on whether the heavy, orange gourds would sink or float before testing their hypotheses. It was a perfect, multi-sensory way to introduce concepts of density and buoyancy.

A huge thank you goes out to the wonderful volunteers who came in to assist our teachers and make this educational, messy, and memorable day a success!
