SchoolTool (Parent Portal & Student Portal)
SchoolTool is the student management system that holds all of your child's academic information. Through SchoolTool, you can view:
- Student schedules
- Assignments
- Assessments
- Attendance
- Discipline records
- Grades
Keeping Your Information Current
Every summer, parents and guardians receive a mailing with the contact information currently on file in SchoolTool. It's crucial to update this paperwork with any changes to your contact details and return it to your child's teacher or directly to the Elementary or High School Office. Keeping your information current ensures you receive all essential communications from the school.
Parent Portal: Your Online Access to SchoolTool
The Parent Portal is an online system that provides parents and guardians direct access to their student's SchoolTool information. It's your go-to spot for checking student schedules, grades, attendance, and assignments, helping you stay connected and informed.
- Access: The primary contact for each student in the school's records receives Parent Portal access.
- Multiple Children: If you have more than one child in the district, you can view all their information through a single Parent Portal account.
- Additional Contacts: Other contacts can request a Parent Portal account by emailing the North Warren Technology Department. (Note: Users will be verified by the District Office.)
- Existing Accounts: If you already have a Parent Portal account from a previous school year or for another child, your existing login will allow you to view all children linked to your primary contact information. No new email or action is needed from you.
- New Accounts: If this is your first time using the Parent Portal or if you're a new family to the district, you'll receive an email with your login credentials (username and a temporary password).
- Email Requirement: A valid email address is required to register for and use the Parent Portal. If you don't have one or need to update yours, please contact the District Office. Each person can only have one email address in the system.
How to Access the Parent Portal
You can access the Parent Portal in a few ways:
- Download the SchoolTool Mobile App.
- Go directly to the website: https://www2.schooltool.com/NorthWarren.
- Find links on the main NorthWarrenCSD.org website under the “Quick Links” or "Families" sections.
