Financial Aid

FAFSA

Any students that plan to receive financial aid in college need to submit the FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid). The 2025-2026 FAFSA should open in December 2024. College financial aid offices encourage students and parents/guardians to create an FSA ID before submitting the FAFSA. The FSA ID can be created here.

NYS TAP

In order to qualify for NYS TAP (New York State Tuition Assistance Program), students and parents/guardians must submit the NYS TAP application, in addition to the FAFSA.

NYS Excelsior Scholarship

Students from families earning $125,000 or less may be able to attend a state operated SUNY or CUNY college tuition free. Eligibility Requirements
